Dublin, October 2024 – Sarcoma Cancer Ireland has published its Annual Report 2024, marking a year of growth, advocacy, and patient support.
Chairperson Rebecca Guilfoyle said:
“2024 has been a landmark year for Sarcoma Cancer Ireland. From gaining official charity status to delivering direct support to patients and families, we are building a future where every person with sarcoma in Ireland feels supported, informed, and never alone.”
The report highlights progress in awareness campaigns, counselling services, financial support for patients, and community fundraising. It also sets out ambitious plans for 2025, including nationwide GP education, peer support training, and expanded services for young people affected by sarcoma.
