This September, we’re asking you to Step Up for Sarcoma — one mile a day, every day, from the 1st to the 30th. Walk, jog, roll, or push a buggy — you’ll be moving with purpose, raising vital funds and awareness for sarcoma patients and families across Ireland. 💛

Terms and Conditions for Sarcoma Cancer Ireland Monthly Step Challenge

1. Eligibility

The challenge is open to all individuals who wish to support Sarcoma Cancer Ireland. Participants under the age of 18 must have parental or guardian consent to register.
2. Registration

Participants must register for the challenge through the official Sarcoma Cancer Ireland website or event page.
A registration fee is applicable, details of which are provided on the registration page. All proceeds go directly to supporting the charity’s objectives.
3. Duration of the Challenge

The challenge runs from the first to the last day of the specified month.
Late entries may be accepted at the discretion of the organizers but may not qualify for full challenge benefits or prizes.
4. Participation

Participants are to track their daily steps using a pedometer, smartphone, or any other reliable device.
Participants are encouraged to set a personal goal at the beginning of the challenge and strive to meet it by the end.
5. Reporting

Participants must submit their total steps weekly via the event’s online portal.
Failure to report steps regularly may result in disqualification from prize eligibility.
6. Fundraising

Participants are encouraged to fundraise independently or through a provided online fundraising platform.
All fundraising must be conducted in a respectful and lawful manner.
7. Use of Data

Personal information collected during registration and the event will be used in accordance with our privacy policy to manage the event and communicate with participants.
Participant consent for the use of their data for any other purpose will be obtained explicitly.
8. Conduct

Participants are expected to conduct themselves in a manner that positively represents Sarcoma Cancer Ireland and its mission.
Any behavior deemed damaging to the reputation of the charity or its objectives may result in disqualification.
9. Liability

Sarcoma Cancer Ireland is not responsible for any injuries or damages resulting from participation in the challenge.
Participants are responsible for ensuring they are medically and physically capable of participating.
10. Changes to the Challenge

The organizers reserve the right to modify the terms of the challenge or cancel the event in the face of unforeseen circumstances.
11. Prizes

Prizes will be awarded based on various categories which will be announced at the beginning of the challenge.
All decisions regarding winners are final and binding.
12. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Ireland.
